Create a BIMI Record
You can create a BIMI record in DMARC Protection only for domains (and sub-domains) that you manage in DMARC Protection. To review the domains you manage in DMARC Protection, go to Configure > Manage Domains, and then click All Domains.
Prerequisites
- A brand logo file in SVG (scalable vector graphics) format in a location accessible by a secure (https) URL.
- The URL to the above.
- Go to Tools > BIMI.
- Enter a domain or sub-domain that you manage in DMARC Protection.
- Click Look Up.
- Click Create New BIMI Record.
- Enter a Brand Mark Identifier value. This is a fully qualified https URL to a resource, which must be an SVG (scalable vector graphics) file, and click Apply.
- Enter an optional BIMI Certificate value. This is a fully qualified https URL to a certificate or an API that can be queried for validation, and click Apply.
- Click Continue.
- Click Create Instructions.
A text file with the extension .txt will be downloaded to you computer. Where it is saved will depend on the default file download location you have set in your browser. The file will contain instructions for what DNS records should be added to the domain and the exact TXT record for BIMI that you can copy and paste.
