Default Properties - Workflows

Overview

Sets parameters that are applied to all workflows on the system. Enables you to select the default agent that should be displayed when an object is added to the workflow, set exclusion dates, and set a timeout value which defines the maximum period a workflow can execute before timing out. Also, allows you to dictate what events should occur upon workflow error, such as specify an email address in which to send error notifications.

To access the list of Default Properties for Workflows, select Options on the Server Management Console's navigation bar, and then select Default Properties > Workflows.

NOTE: By default, these properties are inherited by all workflows on the system unless they are set by way of an individual workflow. For more details regarding inheritance hierarchies, see Property Inheritance.
