Custom Actions
Description
Allows you to create your own Automate actions that look and function just like those created by Fortra. You can add your own action icon and controls such as text boxes, radio buttons, and drop-down lists to each action to provide the flexibility you need to execute your automated tasks.
For more information on Custom Actions and how to create them, download the Custom Action Software Development Kit (SDK) from the Fortra Support Portal at https://support.fortra.com/.
To access the Custom Actions settings, select Options on the Server Management Console's navigation bar, and then select Settings > Server Settings > Custom Actions.

| Enable Custom Actions | Selecting this parameter allows you to add Custom Actions to Automate. Custom Actions appear in the Other category of the Task Builder Actions Panel. This parameter is disabled by default. WARNING: Disabling this parameter without removing (or disabling) Custom Action-related steps from your tasks will cause those tasks to fail. If you decide to stop using this feature, remove (or disable) all Custom Action steps from your tasks first, and then disable this parameter. |
