Revision Management

Description

Controls Automate's revision control functionality which dictates how to manage existing repository objects when recent changes are saved.

To access the Revision Management settings, select Options on the Server Management Console's navigation bar, and then select Settings > Server Settings > Revision Management.

Use the following settings to control Automate's Revision Management behavior. Once the preferred settings have been chosen, select SAVE.

Setting Description
Enable Revision Management Select this checkbox to enable Revision Management.
Revision Trimming Options Specifies how existing repository objects are managed when updated changes are saved. The available options are:
  • No Trimming - All copies of the repository object will be saved. New copies will include a number at the end of the original name.
  • Trim all revisions older than X days - Copies of the repository object older than X days will be deleted.
  • Trim all but the X most recent revisions - Choose a maximum number of copies to keep for each object.
Clear all revisions now Select this to delete all revisions.
