Select Agent/Agent Group
Overview
Tasks and processes are objects that are executed within the context of the workflows in which they are contained in. There may be circumstances when you need to manually execute such objects individually. The Task Agent, Process Agent, or Agent Group used to run a task or process is normally set during workflow construction. Because these properties are set within the context of the workflow, they are valid only during the execution of that workflow and do not apply when you manually execute an individual task/process. In such cases, you must manually select the agent and/or Agent Group to run from the Select Agent/Agent Group window.
To select an Agent/Agent Group for a task or process

On the Server Management Console's navigation bar, select Repository.

Depending on the type of object you want to run, select the Tasks or Processes folder.

Select a task or process.

Select RUN. You can also right-click the object's icon, and then select Run.

On the Select Agent/Agent Group window, select an agent and/or Agent Group. To select more than one agent and/or Agent Group, hold down the CTRL key during selection.
