Real-time IP Blocklists

You can configure Clearswift Gateway to use one or more Real-time IP Blocklist (RBL) servers to check the IP addresses of incoming requests against known or suspected spam-originating IP addresses. Clearswift Gateway queries the specified RBL server or servers with the connecting IP address.

The Clearswift Gateway includes a well-recognized RBL server in the configuration list. Use this server, or specify other or additional RBL servers as you prefer. See Advanced SpamLogic Settings.

 

To avoid messages from trusted sources being blocked by RBLs, add them to an Allow List Clearswift has no contractual obligation with any of the Real-time IP Blocklist (RBL) providers. The selection of an RBL Blocklist for service quality or service fee is the sole responsibility of the customer.
