Import and export key certificates

If you are operating the Email Gateway in FIPS mode, you cannot import or export PGP certificates as PGP is an unsupported encryption type. PGP uses algorithms that are not compliant with FIPS.

How do I...

Import a key certificate
1. Put the PEM-format certificate file in a folder that you can access from the Email Gateway web interface.
  
  PEM-format certificate files can have a variety of extensions (.pem, .asc, and so on).
2. Navigate to System > Encryption and click Certificate Store.
3. Click either the Partners or the Corporate tab.
4. On the toolbar, click Import.
5. In the Upload Certificate or Key dialog box, follow the instructions on screen, and then click Import.
  
  If the import is successful, the certificate appears in the list of certificates in the information panel.
6. Apply the configuration.
Export a key certificate
1. Navigate to System > Encryption and click Certificate Store.
2. Click either the Partners or the Corporate tab.
3. In the list of certificates in the information panel, click a certificate.
4. On the toolbar, click Export.
5. Follow the instructions on screen.
