BATV Address Validation parameters

The Advanced BATV Bounce Address Tag Validation Address Validation Settings enable you to change the pass-phrase that uniquely identifies your mail domain. This will be required when you have more than one Gateway serving your company mail network but these Gateways are not part of a peer group. In this case, you need to set the same pass-phrase on each Gateway manually.

A random pass-phrase was generated at installation.

To configure BATV Address Validation settings:

1. From the Policy Center Home page, click SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page appears.
2. Click the Parameters tab.
3. Move the pointer over the BATV Address Validation section, and click Click here to change these settings.
4. In the Pass phrase field, enter a pass-phrase to uniquely identify your mail domain.
5. In the Confirm field, re-enter the pass-phrase for confirmation.
6. Click Save.
