View trusted senders

As part of configuring PMM, you can view the trusted senders in your system ordered by the number of PMM users that trust them. You can also add trusted senders to a static address list. Trusted Senders works by quarantining messages as determined by policy, then automatically releasing from quarantine any messages for a recipient where the sender is in the recipient's Trusted Senders list. The system behaves as if the user themself had released the message from their PMM digest, with all the same consequences: tracking, auditing, and spam counts.

View Trusted Senders ordered by number of trusts

  1. Navigate to System > PMM Settings > Manage Users. The Manage PMM Users page is displayed.
  2. Click View trusted senders ordered by number of trusts on the task panel to display the Trusted Senders Ordered By Number Of Trusts page.

Add Trusted Senders to a static address list

If you find that many of your end-users have added the same Trusted Senders, you could add all of those Trusted Senders to an address list.

  1. Navigate to System > PMM Settings > Manage Users. The Manage PMM Users page is displayed.
  2. Click View trusted senders ordered by number of trusts on the task panel to display the Trusted Senders Ordered By Number Of Trusts page.
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the Trusted Senders area and select the user to add.
  4. Click Add trusted sender to address list on the task panel. The Add Trusted Sender to Address List dialog appears.
  5. Select the static address list from the drop-down box and click Add.

When you have finished modifying your PMM settings you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect. If you use Peer Gateways (i.e. when multiple Gateways are peered), any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time. See Configure Peer Gateways for more information.
