Block Pages
Block Pages warn the end user that they have attempted to access a site that is prohibited by your security policy. You can customize a Block Page to provide users with a reason for the block, and any further relevant information. You can edit:
- Block Page Title
- Page text

An image to display on the block page (up to 1MB).
Create multiple block pages and customize each one for a specific policy route. -
The Manage End User & Block Pages page
You can manage multiple block pages and end user pages using the Manage End User & Block Pages page. Click Policy > Policy References > End User & Block Pages.
The page displays lists of all available Block Pages.
indicates that the page is applied to at least one policy route.
indicates that the page is not applied to a policy route.

Using tokens with Block Pages
You can use tokens when configuring the text that is displayed by your block pages. For example, you might want to include the URL of the page that has been requested. In this instance a token returns the appropriate value:
Access to the following page: %URL% is prohibited.
What tokens can I use here?
Token Description %CONTENTDETECTED% The names of the triggered content rules.
%DIAGNOSTICS% A complete report of the data analysis.
%FORMATSUBTYPE% The low level type of data recognized.
%FORMATTYPE% The type of data recognized.
%PROXY% The hostname of the server that initiated the warning page.
%ROUTE% The name of the route that determined the policy.
%ROUTEQUOTA% The total quota time for the current route.
%RULES% A comma separated list of matched rules.
%URL% The full URL of the request.
%URL_CATEGORY% The URL category name for the current request.
%USER% The user name, or, if no user name is available, the IP address of the client machine.
%USER_QUOTA_REMAINING% The remaining quota time for the user for the current route.
%USER_QUOTA_USED% The quota time used by the user for the current route.

Create or Edit a Block Page?
- Click Policy > Policy References > End User & Block Pages

Click
New to create a new Block Page or select an existing page from the list and click
Edit.
- Edit the Overview section, including the Name of the Block Page and any relevant Notes. Click Save to complete the changes.

Select the Titles & Content tab to add the Title, Sub Title and any HTML to be Inserted into Block Page. Click Save to complete the changes.
- Select the Image tab and us the Browse button to locate an image. Click Save to complete the changes. The image is previewed on the Image tab.
- Apply the configuration.
Click Preview the Block page in the Task Panel to view the page in a separate tab. -
Delete a Block Page?
- Click Policy > Policy References > End User & Block Pages.

Select a page from the list.

Click
Delete. A dialog is displayed.
You can only delete a block page that is not currently applied to a policy route .

Confirm by clicking Delete.
