Block Facebook Chat

You can block Facebook Chat on a particular Facebook policy route, if required.

  A different block page is automatically generated for each type of social media policy route added to the Gateway. For example, if you create a Facebook route, a Facebook block page is also created. You cannot delete these block pages if a related policy route exists on your Gateway.

To enable or disable Facebook Chat:

  1. Click Policy > Web Policy Routes.
  2. Select a Facebook policy route.
  3. Click Edit. The Modify Policy Route page is displayed.
  4. Select the Facebook Chat content rule in the Unless One Of These Content Rules Triggers section.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Select Block Facebook Chatto disable. Clear the selection if you want to enable Facebook Chat.

  7. Click Update.
  8. Apply the configuration.
