Update the URL Database

You can update or reset the URL Database at any time. Details of the currently installed version of the URL Database are shown on the Managed Updates tab. See Managed Updates for more information.

To update the URL Database:

  1. Click System Center > Installed Version & Upgrades. The Installed Version & Upgrades page is displayed.
  2. Select the Managed Updates tab. This tab displays the databases currently installed on your Gateway.
  3. Click Update URL Database in the task panel to request an update. If the update request is successful, the Update in Progress dialog box allows you to click Close to continue. The Gateway then applies the update.

      The update could take several minutes. Click your web browser's refresh button to check that the updated URL Database is displayed on the Managed Updates tab.

To reset the URL Database:

  1. Click System Center > Installed Version & Upgrades. The Installed Version & Upgrades page is displayed.
  2. Select the Managed Updates tab. This tab displays the databases currently installed on your Gateway.
  3. Click Reset URL Database in the task panel. A dialog box prompts you to confirm.
  4. Click Yes to continue. The Gateway applies the reset.

      Applying a reset replaces your URL database with the latest provided version, and this will not include any URLs you have submitted.
