Block Facebook Chat
You can block Facebook Chat on a particular Facebook policy route, if required.
A different block page is automatically generated for each type of social media policy route added to the Gateway. For example, if you create a Facebook route, a Facebook block page is also created. You cannot delete these block pages if a related policy route exists on your Gateway. |
To enable or disable Facebook Chat:
- Click Policy > Web Policy Routes.
- Select a Facebook policy route.
- Click
Edit. The Modify Policy Route page is displayed.
- Select the Facebook Chat content rule in the Unless One Of These Content Rules Triggers section.
- Click
Edit.

Select Block Facebook Chatto disable. Clear the selection if you want to enable Facebook Chat.
- Click Update.
- Apply the configuration.
