Create, edit or delete a machine list

You create machine lists to define the machines in a policy route.

Create a machine list

  1. From the Policy References area on the Policy Center Home page, click Machines. The Manage Machine Lists page is displayed, listing any existing machine lists.
  2. Click New adjacent to the Machines header.
  3. The Overview area enables you to provide a name and optional notes for the machine list. To edit the Overview information:

Edit a machine list

You can modify a machine list to change the machines that it defines.

  1. From the Policy References section of the Policy Center Home page, click Machines. The Manage Machine Lists page is displayed, listing any existing machine lists.
  1. Select the machine list to modify and click Edit. The Modify Machine List page appears, displaying the details of the machine list.

  • When you have finished modifying your content security policy, you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect.If you use Peer Gateways (i.e. when multiple Gateways are peered), any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time. See Configure Peer Gateways for more information.
  • Delete a machine list

    You can delete a machine list if you no longer need it.

     

    You cannot delete a machine list that is referenced in a policy route.

    1. From the Policy Center Home page, click Machines. The Manage Machine Lists page is displayed, listing any existing machine lists.
    1. Select the machine list you want to delete.
    2. Click Delete.
    3. Click Delete in the Confirm Delete dialog.
