URL Database

The URL database contains a list of websites that have been categorized by the Clearswift Secure Web Gateway. Categories are useful as you can configure your policy using Internet Zones to block or allow URLs depending on their category in the URL database.

Managing the URL Database

You can:

• Configure URLs for submission to the database. For more details, see Configure unknown URL submission.
• Update the URL database manually. For more details, see Update the URL Database.
• Reset the URL database. For more details, see Update the URL Database.
• Identify URL categories. For more details, see Identify the URL category.
