You can configure your Clearswift Gateway to display progress pages to users who are waiting for files to download. A progress page displays the download progress, and allows users to determine how long the download is likely to take. You can configure:
- The address details of the server that delivers the progress pages. This is normally the Clearswift Gateway address.
- The file size or download time thresholds that trigger progress page display.
- The frequency at which the progress page is updated.
- The filetypes, filenames and URLs for which to bypass the progress page. For the pages that you configure, progress pages are not displayed.
