Manage YouTube Videos

You can manage YouTube Videos on a particular YouTube policy route, if required.

You can choose to allow or block all videos. Additionally, you can specify an allow list or a block list of videos depending on the allow/block setting.

For example, when specifying allow all videos, you can specify a block list of videos that cannot be accessed by users. Alternatively, when specifying block all videos, you can specify an allow list of videos that can be accessed by users.

A different block page is automatically generated for each type of social media policy route added to Secure Web Gateway. For example, if you create a Facebook route, a Facebook block page is also created. You cannot delete these block pages if a related policy route exists on your Secure Web Gateway.

To manage YouTube Videos

1. Click Policy > Web Policy Routes.
2. Select a YouTube policy route.
3. Click Edit. The Modify Policy Route page is displayed.

4. Select the YouTube Videos content rule.

5. Click Edit. The Edit YouTube Videos dialog is displayed.

6. Select an option:

   • Allow all videos

   • Block all videos

7. Select Except for the following videos if you want to create a list of exceptions. Use New to add a new YouTube Video URL or Video ID and any relevant comments.

   You can Edit or Delete a video entry from the exceptions list.

8. Click Close.
9. Apply the configuration.
