Peer Gateways

You can configure up to eight Gateway products to form a peer group. These Peer Gateways work together in the group. Any configuration changes from a local Gateway can then be applied to all the peers at the same time.

Peer Gateways can provide redundancy in the event of a failure, and can share the processing load.

When you peer Secure Web Gateway with other types of Gateways, you will see features in one that are only supported in the other. For example:

In case the feature displayed under a peered Gateway's user interface is not applicable to that particular peer, a message indicating this is displayed. For example:
