Create, edit, schedule or delete a custom report
You can create a new report by copying a system report and customizing the copy.
Create a custom report

Navigate to the Reports menu. The Reports page is displayed.

Expand the required category, select a system report and click
Copy. The Modify Custom Report page is displayed.
When you copy a system report (
), the copy is automatically added to the Available Reports list.
The copy is a custom report (
) and has a suffix "Copy" added to the original name.
Overview

In the Overview panel, click Click here to change these settings. Edit the Name and Notes of the report as required.

Click Save.
The Notes will be displayed in the Report Details section when you select the report from the Available Reports list.
What To Filter On?
The Summary tab in the What To Filter On? panel displays the criteria Secure Exchange Gateway uses to run the report.

Click Click here to change these settings. Depending on the report you copied, various different tabs are displayed.

Select the tab you require and configure the report parameters. For example, set a period for the report by using the Date Range tab, or specify the number of top results displayed on the report by using the Top N tab.

Click Save.
Schedule
Customized reports can be automatically generated and emailed at scheduled intervals.

In the Schedule panel, click Click here to change these settings.

Select the scheduling option:

Not scheduled
-
Automatic scheduling: The report will be generated at intervals during the Date Range specified in the What To Filter On? panel.
For example, if the specified Date Range is This Month, the report will be generated weekly (on the first day of the week).
The start and end day of the week are defined in the Date Range Settings panel on the Tracking And Report Settings page.

Custom scheduling: Specify the frequency and delivery time of the report.

Click Save.
In the Available Reports list, scheduled customized reports show a clock The date of the next scheduled report is displayed in the Report Details section when you select the report from the Available Reports list. |
Who To Send To?
If you set a schedule to the report, the Who To Send To? panel will be displayed.

In the Who To Send To? panel, click Click here to change these settings.

Specify the recipient(s) of the scheduled report. You can select both options, if required:

Send to report owner

Send to recipient list: Enter the email address (or addresses), separated by semicolons. For example,
manager@company.org
;user1@company.org
;user2@company.org

Click Save.
Edit a custom report
You cannot edit system reports. Only custom reports are editable. |

Navigate to the Reports menu. The Reports page is displayed.

Select a custom report and click
Edit. The Modify Custom Report page is displayed.

Modify the Overview, What To Filter On?, Schedule, and Who To Send To? (if schedule is set) panels as required. Click Save on each panel to save your changes.
Delete a custom report
You cannot delete system reports. Only custom reports are deletable. |

Navigate to the Reports menu. The Reports page is displayed.

Select a custom report and click
Delete.

Click Yes in the Confirm Delete dialog to confirm the removal.
