Alarm Post-Actions

Post-actions are performed automatically by Event Manager once an alarm is triggered..

To create a post-action for an alarm

1. Select the alarm on the Alarms tree, and click the Post-Actions tab from the alarm’s panel that appears.
2. Click Add to add a new alarm post-action.
3. Enter your alarm post-action’s logical expression in the white workspace in the middle of your browser.
4. Click Save.

Editing an Alarm’s Post-Actions

To edit an alarm post-action

1. In the Alarms Tree, navigate to the alarm that has the post-action you want to edit.
2. Click on the alarm; it remains highlighted.
3. Click the Post-Actions tab and edit your logical expression as in step 3 above.
4. Click Save.
