Accounts and Services

You can easily manage general settings for your account and services in Fortra VM.

  1. From the navigation menu, select System > Account Profile.
  2. From the General section, view and change the following settings for your account.
  • Account Name
  • Account Status
  • Client Advocate
  • Personal security analyst (only for Fortra VM Pro subscribers)
  • Time Zone
  • Account ID
  • Reports Branding
  • Insight Classifications: Organizational information for Insight

Service Subscriptions

Service subscriptions shows the services you are subscribed to. Here you can request service.

  1. Find the desired service and select Request Service.
  2. In the Request New Subscription dialog, perform the following:
    • (If applicable) Select the service edition desired.
    • (Optional) Include additional details about the request.
    • Select OK to submit the request.
    • An account representative will contact you.
Types of Service Subscriptions
Type Description
Evergreen Expires upon contract cancellation. If your contract includes vulnerability assessment services, you can schedule assessments as long as you have a valid contract with Name or a Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
One Time Expires as soon as it is used. If your contract includes vulnerability assessment services, you can schedule only one assessment on your network.

Settings

  1. From the navigation menu, select System Settings. This page provides the following options for account security and authentication.
  • Security: Enforce password expiration for users and control how many days a password is valid.
  • User Authentication Scheme: Client Support can enable your preferred authentication methods for Fortra VM, including Duo two-factor authentication
