You can increase or reduce the size of an image either by dragging with the mouse or by using the Image Properties dialog box.

 

Resize a picture by dragging

You can drag to resize a picture you have added in text or in the map. You cant drag to resize background images.

  1. Click the image to select it.

  2. For images in text, drag the selection handles to any side to resize the image vertically or horizontally, or drag the corner selection handles to resize the image proportionally.

 OR

  1. Choose Edit > Image > Resize and drag a selection handle on the image. The status bar displays the new size of the image in pixels as you drag.

  2. For map images, drag a corner selection handle to resize. Map images dont maintain proportions when resized by dragging.

 

Resize a picture using the Properties box

You can use the Image Properties dialog box to resize any image. The way you display the dialog box depends on whether the image has been added in text, in the background of a page area, or as a map element.

  1. If the image has been added in text in a page area, double-click the image.

  1. Click the Resize tab.

  2. (Optional) By default, CuteSITE Builder resizes images proportionally (that is, maintains the height/width ratio of the image). If you want to change height or width without maintaining the images proportions, clear the Maintain Proportions check box.

Note

Resizing a picture without maintaining proportions may make the image appear distorted.

  1. (Optional) By default, CuteSITE Builder resizes by pixels. You can also resize by percent. Click the drop-down arrow after the word Pixels to change the method of resizing to Percent.

  2. Specify the amount you want to resize the height and width of the image. If you are resizing proportionally, both the height and width settings change if you enter changes to either one or,

  1. (Optional) If the image is a picture in text (inserted in a page area), you can click Apply to save your changes without closing the dialog box. You can then continue to crop the image, or click Reset to restore the image to the size it was before you last clicked Apply.
