When you publish a CuteSITE Builder files to the Web, CuteSITE Builder creates an HTML version the file. HTML is the coding language that specifies how information is displayed on the Web.

When publishing a Web site, CuteSITE Builder makes every attempt to ensure that the output resembles the CuteSITE Builder pages as closely as possible. However, there are some HTML conventions over which CuteSITE Builder has no control. For example, HTML supports a limited number of font sizes, so CuteSITE Builder analyzes the number of font sizes used in the document and attempts to match them to similar font sizes in HTML. Additionally, the final appearance of the CuteSITE Builder file you convert may differ between browsers, particularly the vertical space between some paragraph styles. See Getting Great Results with CuteSITE Builder for a list of HTML issues to keep in mind when working in CuteSITE Builder.

In order to add features to your documents that are supported in HTML, but not in CuteSITE Builder, you can enter HTML directly into your CuteSITE Builder documents and make sure it passes through the publishing process unchanged. Or you can capture HTML pages and incorporate them into your file.
