In each page area, you can adjust the colors in which links will display after they are published to the Web. You can specify different colors for links that have not yet been visited, and links that have been visited in the current browser session. You can also set the color and font of links to change when a user's mouse cursor is over the links. Link color controls are accessed by right-clicking in the page area and choosing Properties > Page Area > HTML Link Colors.
Choose colors here lets you predefine the link and visited link colors. Active link color will be the same as visited link color.
Use browser defaults will cause the links to use the browser defaults, typically blue for links and purple for visited links.
Use color of link text allows you to set the link color using font tools while editing the page.
Add Rollover effects to hyperlinks
Clear the Auto Colors boxes.
Click the arrow on the Foreground color button and select a color for the link text.
Click the arrow on the Background button and select a color for the area behind link text.
Click the Change button to select a different font during rollover.
To change the font when the cursor passes over
1. Right click in the page area where you want the links to change.
2. Click Properties > Page Area.
3. Click the HTML Link Colors tab.
4. Clear the Auto Font box.
5. Click the Change button. The Font dialog box appears.
6. Select the font face, style and other attributes you want for the link text when the mouse cursor is over the link.
7. Click OK to close the Font dialog box.
8. Click OK again to finish and close the Page Body Properties dialog box, or click Apply accept your changes and keep the dialog box open to make more changes.
Notes
n These link colors are expressed only after a file is published to the Web. If you want to change the color of links in the CuteSITE Builder file, highlight the links and then choose Format > Font, or apply a style that has an associated color.
n You will not be able to see the effects until you preview or publish your site.
n If you change the text color from the Page Body Properties dialog box, the same color will be chosen in the Font dialog box. If you change the text color in the Font dialog box, the same color will be chosen in the Page Body Properties dialog box.
