Borders Overview
Each CuteSITE Builder page area can include up to four optional page borders to the right, left, top, or bottom of the page body. Borders become frames in your Web site when you publish.
Borders usually supplement the information in the page body. You can include titles, company logos, lists of links to other pages, and navigation links in borders. The appearance and contents of each border must be set independently.
Different page layouts display different borders. If a page doesn’t display a desired border, or to hide an existing border, click the page to make it active and choose Format > Page Area. You can then choose which page area's properties you want to access, and then turn its display on or off.
You can also set the following in the Border Properties dialog box:
Display of scroll bars
Border size
Text margins
Background color or picture
Edge width (Edges do not display when you preview or publish your site.)
Edge color (Edges do not display when you preview or publish your site.)
Style of default text
HTML link colors (used when you publish to the Web)
To quickly set or change the properties of a displayed border, right-click the border and choose Properties > Page Area.
Priority order determines how CuteSITE Builder displays borders that meet. To assign the priority of borders on a page, right-click the page in the map, choose Properties, and click the Page Area tab.
