Save changes to a Web design

A Web design is a collection of page layouts and named styles that share a consistent look. You can modify page layouts and named styles or create new ones as your Web site file dictates; however, your changes will not be available in other files to which you apply the Web design unless you save the changes to the design itself.

You can either save your changes to an existing Web design or create a new Web design.

1. Make any desired changes to the page layouts and named styles in the design.

2. Choose File > Save As.

3. Open the WebDesigns folder. By default, CuteSITE Builder saves Web designs in the WebDesigns folder. Its good practice to save new designs in this folder, though not required.

4. Click the Save as Type drop-down arrow and choose CuteSITE Builder Design Files. CuteSITE Builder designs have the extension .TLD.

5. Select the name of an existing Web design file, or type a new name to create a new Web design.

6. Click Save.

Notes

Changes you make to a document design do not affect files that already use the design. You need to reapply the Web design to existing files for your changes to take effect.
