Select existing text

You can select text with either the mouse or keyboard.

Select text

Hold down the left mouse button and drag over the text.

OR

Press and hold Shift and then press the arrow keys.

Select an entire word 

Double-click the word.

OR

Press and hold Shift and Ctrl and then press the arrow keys.

Select an entire line

Press and hold Shift and then press the End key.

Select from the cursor to the end of the current page area

Press and hold Shift and then press the PgDn key.

OR

Press and hold Shift and Ctrl and then press the End key.
