Stopping transfers

To stop a transfer

1. Select the item(s) in the queue to be stopped

2. On the menu bar, click View > Stop.

To remove items queued for transfer

1. Highlight a file listed in the Queue Pane.

2. On the menu bar, go toTools > Queue > Remove Selected.

3. A message appears asking if you are sure you want to remove the item from the queue.

4. Click Yes.

Tip

Remove All will delete every file from the queue. Remove Finished will delete items from the queue that have completed their transfer.

To resume a stopped transfer

1. Highlight the stopped item in the queue.

2. On the menu bar click Tools > Queue > Transfer Selected.

To reset a failed transfer

1. Highlight the item in the queue.

2. On the menu bar click Tools > Queue > Reset Selected.

3. On the menu bar click Tools > Queue > Transfer Selected.

Tip

Use the shortcut keys Esc or F9 to stop active transfers. Pressing Esc once will stop the last command (be it a transfer or connection request). Pressing Esc repeatedly will cause CuteFTP to cycle through active transfers and/or connections and stop them one by one. You can also highlight multiple items in the queue and click Esc to stop them. Use the Del key to stop and remove selected queue items.
