Choosing other HTML editor settings

To keep text from running off the right end of the HTML editor screen

1. On the menu bar, click Tools > Global Options.

2. Expand Helper Applications.

3. Click HTML Editor.

4. Select the Enable word wrap check box.

• Clear the Enable word wrap check box to allow text to continue beyond the right edge.

5. Click OK or Apply.

To display line numbers in HTML documents

1. On the menu bar, click Tools > Global Options.

2. Expand Helper Applications.

3. Click HTML Editor.

4. Select the Prefix each line with line numbers check box.

• Clear the Prefix each line with line numbers check box to hide line numbers.

5. Click OK or Apply.

To change the tags and text that appear in new HTML documents

1. On the menu bar, click Tools > Global Options.

2. Expand Helper Applications.

3. Click HTML Editor.

4. Click the Edit new document template button.

5. Make changes in the New document template window.

6. Click OK.

7. Click OK again, or click Apply.
