Use the Compare Folder Contents tool to highlight differences between a remote and a local folder.
Display a folder in the Local Drives pane.
Connect to the folder you want to compare in the Remote pane.
On the menu bar, click Tools > Compare Folder Contents.
Select the Compare dates check box.
Select the Ignore case check box to compare all files with the same name, regardless of differing upper or lower case letters.
Click OK. CuteFTP Pro will compare all items with the same name and highlight any files or folders with time stamps that are different between the server and local folder. CuteFTP Pro will also highlight items that only exist on one site or the other.
Display a folder in the Local Drives pane.
Connect to the folder you want to compare in the Remote pane.
On the menu bar, click Tools > Compare Folder Contents.
Select the Compare sizes check box.
Select the Ignore case check box to compare all files with the same name, regardless of differing upper or lower case letters.
Click OK. CuteFTP Pro will compare all items with the same name and highlight any files or folders with sizes that are different between the server and local folder. CuteFTP Pro will also highlight items that only exist on one site or the other.
Once differing files are highlighted, you can click and drag one file and all the other highlighted files will be moved together.
If you clear the Ignore case check box, two files with the same name spelled in differing case will be treated as two different files. For example, test.txt and TEST.txt would be treated as two different files. With the Ignore case check box selected, test.txt and TEST.txt would be considered the same.
