Saving HTML documents

To save an HTML document

  1. Make sure the file you want to save is visible in the main window.

  2. On the menu bar, click File > Save.  The file will be saved.

Note: if the file has never been saved before, CuteFTP Pro will open the Save As dialog box and you will need to follow steps 3 and 4 following.

 

To save an HTML document with a new name and/or location

  1. Make sure the file you want to save is visible in the main window.

  2. On the menu bar, click File > Save As.  The Save As dialog box appears.  

  3. Choose a name and location for the file.

  4. Click Save.

 

To save all open HTML documents at the same time

  1. On the menu bar, click File > Save All. CuteFTP Pro will save all files.  If you have not saved all of them previously, the Save As dialog box will appear for each new file.

  2. Choose a name and location for each new file.

  3. Click Save for each new file.

 
Tip

Each open HTML document will have a tab with its name on it appearing toward the lower left of the document. Each time you make a change to an HTML document the name on the tab will appear in red until you save or close the document.
