Internet Explorer warning on Windows 2003

When you first install and start CuteFTP Server, you may see an Internet Explorer Warning about security. Simply click Add, and the message will disappear.

By clicking Add, you change the settings in Internet Explorer to recognize content from www.globalscape.com as safe content.

The message appears because your Internet Explorer settings are set at High Security, and the trial version of CuteFTP Server is trying to open a page from the Internet to remind you of your trial's status. These reminders give you the opportunity to purchase the full version, and occasionally include special offers.

After you register the full version of CuteFTP Server, you can change your Internet Explorer security settings and remove globalscape.com from your list of trusted sites.

This issue occurs most often in new installs of Windows 2003 Server.
