Proxy settings

Location: Click Enter your serial number.

Purpose: If you are behind a firewall and are having difficulty connecting to the registration system:

To register from behind a firewall

1. Choose Help > Enter your serial number from the menu bar. The Online Registration dialog box will appear.

2. Enter your Serial Number and Name in the appropriate boxes.

3. Click the Proxy button.

4. Choose the appropriate proxy setting radio button:

• Use system HTTP proxy setting uses the setting as defined by your system.

• Do not use HTTP proxy ignores all proxy settings.

• Use HTTP proxy allows you to define your proxy setting.

• Click the OK button.

• Click the Register button. You should be presented with a message that says your registration was successful.
