Registering CuteHTML

Perform the following steps to register CuteHTML and activate the full version:

  1. Start CuteHTML.

  2. Go to the Online Registration box by clicking on the Enter Serial Number button on the reminder messages that appears when you start the software or by choosing Help > Enter your serial number from the menu bar.

  3. Enter your Serial Number. It can be found on the invoice you received by email or on your product packing if you obtained a boxed version. If you have lost your serial number you may retrieve a copy at www.globalscape.com or by sending an email to support@globalscape.com. Be sure to include as much information as possible in order for us to find your order information.

  4. Enter your Name. This will appear in the Help > About box after you register.

  5. Update user info check box. If you purchased your software directly from GlobalSCAPE your information will automatically be in our registration database. If you purchased the software from a GlobalSCAPE reseller, your information will not be in our registration database and you will be prompted for your contact information. You do not have to complete this information, however, this information is used for providing you with technical support and locating your serial number if necessary.

  6. Click the Register button. You should receive the following message:

Congratulations! You have successfully registered your copy of CuteHTML. Please restart the software now.

  1. Close and restart CuteHTML. It will now be registered.

Note

When you enter your registration information it will be transmitted to us via the Internet. As part of the registration, the software will assign a unique number to your computer based on system information and will report this number to us. We will use this data to help us prevent the program from being copied onto more computers than permitted by the license.
 

Registration Errors

Since all serial numbers are verified through the Internet, the potential for errors exists during the process. If you are receiving errors while attempting to register CuteHTML, you may manually register the program by submitting your registration information to us by email.

  1. Choose Help > Enter your serial number.

  2. Enter your Serial Number and Name in the appropriate fields.

  3. Click the Register button. If the registration is not successful you will receive an error box that allows you to register manually via email.

  4. Click Yes.

  5. Fill out the remainder of the information fields.

  6. Click the Register button.

  7. Click the Copy to Clipboard button.

  8. Create an email to support@globalscape.com and right-click > Paste in the body of the message.

  9. Send the message. Please do not modify the format of the text.

  10. We will process your email and send you a registration file with instructions.
