Existing Internal Destination

The Existing internal destination interne.gif, in the Specialized tab, provides you direct access to the current Existing destination when you insert internal links or external links. Internal destinations allow you to indicate the precise location in your document where the hyperlinks must refer to. For the targets to be displayed on this tab, the internal destinations must have been defined previously.

  1. Select the text or the image where you want to define an external link to an existing destination inside your HTML document.

  2. In the Specialized tab, click on the icon Existing internal destination.

  3. The tab Existing Destination(s) in the Internal link inside a document dialog box will appear.

  4. From the list, select the keyword which represents the link's target.

  5. Click on the OK button.

This option adds a bookmark (#) to the URL address:

<a href="AccessPath/FileName#BookmarkName" > Text or image acting as the hyperlink </a>

To modify a hyperlink's references, you can use tag recapture.
