This command allows you to check the HTML syntax of an HTML document.
Open the document you want to check.
From the Syntax menu, select Check Document. You can also use the shortcut CTRL+F9 (Refer to list of shortcuts).
The Syntax Checking dialog box appears. You will find the following information there: the current line number, the total number of warnings, the total number of lines in the document, and the total number of errors.
On the bottom of the edit window a small window appears which lists the errors and the warnings found during the syntax check. This window displays the name of the document, the line number and the description of the error or warning.

This icon is displayed when many errors are found in the document. |

This icon indicates that an error was found in the identified document. |

This icon indicates the presence of a warning message in the identified document |
You can double click on the error or warning line in order to go directly to the line where the error is indicated in the document.
To close the error and warning message window, click on the X located on the left.
