Image Browse

This command displays, as thumbnails, all the bmp, gif and jpg format images found in any directory in your hard disk. This command is used to check the name, location, and format of your graphics files.

To display images found in a directory:

  1. In the Standard toolbar, select Image Browse survimg.gif
    or
    From the File menu, select Image Browse. You can also use the shortcut Shift+F2 (Refer to list of shortcuts).

  2. Select the directory containing the images you want to view.

The window is split into two windows. On the left side you can see your disk's the directory tree while the right window displays the bmp, gig and jpg images.

From the left window, select the directory that contains the images you want to view.

The right window displays all the images found on the selected directory.

You can toggle between your edit window and the Image Browse window to move around your document and insert more images.

Click on an image. The following information is displayed on the status bar: the size in pixels, the size in kilobytes, the date it was last modified and the directory where it's found.

You can also insert the image with the corresponding code in your HTML document. To do so, simply double click on the desired image and the code (<img src="image.gif" border="0" width="25" height="25">) will be inserted where the cursor is positioned in your document.
