Background sound <BGSOUND>

This command allows playing music or sounds in the background of your Web page. This command is a Microsoft Internet Explorer Extension.

  1. In the Specialized tab, click on the icon Background sound .

  2. In the text box Source, enter the access path and the name of the file to play. You can also search for the file by pressing the Open button. The file must be in WAV, AU or MID format.

  3. Indicate the number of times the file will be played by indicating a value in the Loop box . The default value is 1.
    If you enter the value -1, the file will play as long as the page is open.

  4. Click on the OK button.

CuteHTML Pro inserts the following command in your document:

<bgsound src="file" loop="anumber">

You can test the sound file by pressing the Test button. When you are in the Open File(s) dialog box.

The Stop button allows you to stop playback of the sound file.

These tag properties can be modified.
