The properties that you indicate will be applied to a set of cells in the table.
In the Table window, select the Table menu.
Click on the Additional table properties item.
This window has two tabs: General and Advanced.
The General Tab:
Table title |
When the mouse is moved over the table, the title specified in this box will be displayed at the bottom of the table in the Preview window. The TITLE="" code will be placed in the HTML document. |
Browser Extensions |
In this menu you choose a browser. There are two browsers to choose from, Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you choose the option that is checked by default, Netscape Extensions, you will be choosing the options that will be viewed by both browsers. If you choose Microsoft Extensions, you will have additional options that will only be displayed by Microsoft Internet Explorer. These options refer to the horizontal alignment of a table. |
Vertical alignment |
This option is used to specify the table’s alignment with respect to the Web page. |
Table Caption |
This option is used together with other HTML commands. The table title is not displayed when the page is displayed in the browser window. <caption> name </caption> is inserted in the HTML document. |
Table summary |
In order to identify the contents of each table in the HTML document, you can enter a summary for each table. This information is useful for the author of the Web page and is not displayed by the browser. The code <table summary="explanation"> is inserted in the HTML document. |
The Advanced Tab:
These commands apply to Microsoft Internet Explorer only.

You can add a background image for the table. Click on the Open and select the desired image. |

You can indicate the type of borders you want to place on the table.
You can also select two options at the same time. If you select Top and Bottom, CuteHTML Pro will insert FRAME="HSIDES". The table will display external horizontal borders in the top and bottom sides of the table. If you select Left and Right, CuteHTML Pro will insert FRAME="VSIDES". The table will display external vertical borders on the right and left sides of the table. |

You can change the color of the table’s borders so that they appear darker. Click on the Color button and select the desired color. |

You can display the internal borders of a table by selecting Activate all borders, which is the default option. you can also choose to deactivate this option. You can also display the horizontal borders between all rows or display the vertical borders between columns. If you choose Display borders between groups, you will only see the rows internal borders (if any) and the internal borders of grouped columns (if any). |
