Drag Handles When active, the Drag Handles icon outlines the hotspot in the active color and places drag handles around the object.

Both When both Nesting and Drag Handles are active, the area is hatched (nested) with drag handles around the object.

Neither When both the Nesting and Drag Handles icons are inactive the area is only outlined with active color.

  1. Perform any of the following edits on selected areas:

To resize a hotspot

The selected image will appear in red (or the default active color) and may or may not have drag handles and/or hatching. Place your cursor on the border or on a handle on the image and click and drag to resize.  Images can be resized without using drag handles, however resizing is easier with them. If handles are not visible, click the Drag Handles icon on the Toolbar to activate the feature or from the Menu Bar, click View > Show Drag Handles.  When the cursor arrow is placed over a handle or border on circles or rectangles, a two-point arrow appears. When the cursor arrow is placed over a handle or point on the border of a polygon, a four-point arrow appears.

To move a hotspot

Place your cursor in the middle of the hotspot then click and drag to position the hotspot without resizing.

To delete a hotspot

Click the hotspot area you wish to delete, then hit the delete key on your keyboard or from the Menu Bar, click Edit > Delete Area.

To change the URL for a hotspot

Click the hotspot area you wish to change, then click in the URL field under the Standard section (left pane) and change the URL. NOTE: The URL address must include the http:// part of the URL address. Ex: http://www. samplesite. com.
