Display Options dialog

The following options are used to determine how files in the right window of CuteZIP are displayed. From the Menu bar, go to Edit > Settings > Display Options.

Display Columns

Users can configure the archive's display window to show the file information they need. Selecting the Size option, for example, will cause a column called Size to appear in the right window with the size of all the files in the archive.

The following list includes all of the choices under Display Columns, with an explanation of the information that will be displayed when each choice is enabled.

Date: Date the file was created

Time: Time the file was created

Size: File size in bytes when uncompressed

Ratio: Percentage size decreased when compressed

Packed: File size in bytes when compressed

Path: Location of the file(s)

[Default]: This setting makes all of the other options revert back to default settings

Additional Display Settings: These choices can either be enabled or left at their default settings.

Allow full row selection: Allows for selecting files in any row. If this option is unchecked, files can only be selected by clicking on the name in the archive pane.

Show all sub-folder contents inline (recommended - off): Shows all the contents (including sub-folders) in one view as opposed to using a tree-view hierarchy. Inline hierarchies are used more commonly than tree-view hierarchies, but they may limit users who have difficulty visualizing a file hierarchy.

At the bottom of the dialog, choose between:

Open multiple archives in one window of CuteZIP using a tabbed interface: Choose this option to cycle among archives with a tab. This option is recommended, because it allows you to work with all of your archives in a single CuteZIP session.

Open multiple archives in separate CuteZIP windows: With this option, a new session of CuteZIP will open for each new/open archive.
