Creating, Renaming, and Deleting Server Groups

Server Groups (In EFT Administrator, Server Groups are at the top of EFT Server's setting hierarchy and allow you to group multiple Servers.) are used to organize Servers. Default Server Group is created when you install EFT Server. You can rename this Server Group, create a new Server Group, and delete a Server Group (if you have more than one).

To create a new Server Group

  1. In EFT Administrator, click File > Add New Group of Servers. The Create New Group dialog box appears.

  2. In the Group Name box, type a descriptive name for the Server Group. The name will appear in the tree and in reports and log files.

  3. Click OK.

To rename a Server Group

  1. In EFT Administrator, click the Server tab.

  2. In the left pane, click the Server Group you want to rename.

  3. On the menu bar, click Configuration > Rename (or press F2).

  4. Next to the Server Group's icon, type a different name.

  5. Press ENTER.

To delete a Server Group

  1. In EFT Administrator, click the Server tab.

  2. On the menu bar, click File > Remove Group of Servers.
