Erasing EFT Server Configuration

If you want to completely remove your EFT Server configuration (Servers, Sites, User Setting Levels, and users), you can do so with the procedure below.

To erase EFT Server configuration

1. Stop the GlobalSCAPE EFT Server service.

2. Delete ftp.cfg and any ftp.bak files. (By default, the files are stored in C:\Program Files\GlobalSCAPE\EFT.)

3. Start the GlobalSCAPE EFT Server service.  

4. Launch EFT Administrator and log in with the username and password used during installation of EFT Server.

5. Recreate your Sites, User Setting Levels, and users (all are removed when you delete the ftp.cfg files).
