Failed to establish data socket

This error usually occurs when trying to connect in Passive mode to a site that only accepts PORT mode connections. Change the connection type from Passive mode to Port mode to connect to the site.

To switch from Passive to Port mode

1. On the menu bar,  choose File > Site Manager.

2. Select the site you want to modify.

3. Click Edit.

4. Clear the Use PASV mode check box.

5. Click OK.
