Connecting to the iDisk File Hosting Service

MobileMe iDisk is a file-hosting service offered by Apple to all MobileMe members to store their files online so they can be accessed remotely. iDisk integrates with Mac OS X, appearing as a network drive. Any WebDAV client can also access an iDisk volume.

To connect to iDisk

1. In the Site Manager, click New Site, or click iDisk (.Mac).

2. Provide the connection information (if new):

1. In the Host name, e.g. idisk.mac.com.

2. In the User name box, provide your username.

3. In the Password box, provide your password.

4. In the Port box, specify the port used to connect iDisk.

5. In the Security list, click iDisk.

3. Click Connect.
