You can transfer files and folders from one FTP server to another using File eXchange Protocol (FXP). Both FTP servers must support and enable FXP. Separate CONTROL and DATA connections allow transmitting data not only between client and server; it allows a client to control two FTP servers at once and transfer data between them by issuing a PASV command on one server and then a matching PORT command on the other. Thus, one server connects to the other instead of to a client.

Many servers consider site-to-site transfers a security vulnerability and won't allow it. Check with your system administrator or refer to the server's documentation to see if the server supports this feature. |
To perform site-to-site transfers
Select either the left or right pane and connect to site A.
Select the opposite pane and connect to site B.
Locate the items to transfer in either site A or B.
Drag the selected items from one pane to the opposite pane.
