Configuring CAC on an Existing LDAP Site

EFT can be configured for Common Access Card (CAC) authentication. (Requires AAMM) To configure CAC on a new Site, refer to Defining Connections (Sites). For more information before configuring, refer to Common Access Card (CAC) Authentication. EFT v8.x does not support UPLOADS from CAC-authenticated users when using Chrome or Edge browsers. Firefox (and possibly other browsers) will work.

To configure EFT to use CAC Authentication

  1. Log in to the EFT administration interface and click the LDAP Site node for which you want to enable CAC.

  2. On the General tab, in the Advanced Authentication Options area, click Common Access Card (CAC).

  3. Click Apply to save your settings.

  4. Click Yes to restart the Site.
