Deleting a Site

If you want to delete a Site that you no longer use, you can do so in the administration interface. When you delete a Site, the Site and the objects under it are deleted from the administration interface, but the folders in C:\Inetpub\EFTRoot, which includes Site and user folders, are not deleted. That is, if you were to create a new Site with the exact same name, it would be created with the same users.

If the Site folder (for example, C:\Inetpub\EFTRoot\MySite) is deleted, a warning message appears in the administration interface.

To delete a Site

  1. In the administration interface, connect to EFT and click the Server tab.

  2. On the Server tab, click the Site that you want to delete, right-click it, and then click Delete. A password prompt appears.

  3. In the Password box, type your EFT administrator password, and then press ENTER or click Delete. There is no confirmation dialog.
