Editing Variables

Follow the steps below to edit a Variable.

Steps

1. Select Custom Data Sources \ RESTful Web Services \ Request Builder from the Analytics home screen. A list of WS APIs displays.
2. Select an API from the WS APIs list.

3. Click on a variable or select Edit from the Actions menu .

   The Edit Variable screen displays.

   

4. Make changes to the Request itself (URL), or modify how data is transformed from JSON. Press the Test button to see changes made to the request.
5. Optional: To edit the variable attributes (the initial settings entered when the variable was first created), press the Edit button at the top of the editor screen. In the Edit Variable panel that displays you can make quick changes to the name and descriptioin.
