Working with WS Connections

Select Custom Data Sources \ RESTful Web Services \ Connections from the Analytics home screen to display a list of connections like so:

In addition to the list of current WS connections, you can also see the following:

  • Group Actions Check Box.
  • Search by Control.
  • Search Bar.
  • The name of the connection.
  • The description of the connection.
  • Show (WS Connection) Actions menu.

As the number of connections grow, there are several features available to help you work with, and manage your connections.

Group Actions, Sorting and Searching

This screen and these functions are similar to working with APIs. see Working With WS APIs to review these items.

Show (WS Connections) Actions

The API Actions menu is available to the right of every connection in the list, and provides access to the following functions:

Edit

Select this option to open and modify the WS connection. See Editing WS Connections for more information.

Delete

Use this option to delete an existing API.

  1. Press the Show Actions button and select the Delete option.

    A second screen displays to confirm your request or cancel.

  2. Press the Delete button .

Close

Press to close the Show Actions panel.
